O Bee Credit Union is looking for a Mortgage Loan Specialist to work Monday-Friday at our Administrative building in Lacey, WA. This position contributes to the success of the Mortgage Lending team by meeting standards of excellence in lending compliance, preparing loan documents, funding closed-end loans, and assisting with HMDA. This position will require collaboration with various departments and people to effectively manage the mortgage process and ensure a high level of communication and timely closing of loans.

What we are looking for:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of experience preparing loan documents, or similar/related experience preferred.
  • One year of Financial Institution experience preferred.
  • Must be able to enroll in NMLS.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to complete on the job training to become MLO.
  • Knowledge and understanding of conventional, secondary, and jumbo loans preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
