Position Summary:

The Service Director is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all production details that lead up to an event as well as the production of that event.


General Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Return all communications within 24 hours (1 business day)
  • Ensure Paylocity is up to date
    • This includes recording your hours (if applicable), approving your shifts by the 5th and 20th of each month, and requesting leave in a timely manner
  • Primary/Backup recording of live services
  • Managing ProPresenter service/worship files for all sites
    • Provide the sites with the files they need for a worship experience
    • Video recording and archiving
  • Direct the 4:00 rehearsal on Thursdays
  • Direct for all live events at the Cliffdale Site
    • Including Weekly Thursday & Sunday night worship experience/recording and Special Events
  • Set up/management of experience overview meeting (Thursdays - 5:00 Production Meeting)
  • Set up/management of Post Production meeting (Thursdays - 7:45pm)
  • Leading/building/training of the production SERVE team for Manna Church Fay/Ft.Bragg
    • Training includes multi-platform switcher, camera operation, camera control unit, and ProPresenter
    • Scheduling all team members for team night and facilitating training during team night
    • Using Infuse to train perspective and new team members
  • Utilize Planning Center Online for scheduling SERVE team for Weekend Experiences and Special Event
  • Create and update PCO plans
    • Files added to PCO (Ex: Teleprompter and video files added to PCO plans) and anything else added by the Lead Pastor and the Executive Director of Experiences
  • Create and distribute weekly timeline(s) and cue sheet(s) for all Multi-Sites
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Education and Experience:

  • 3 years minimum experience in the Live Service Producer field and/or a degree or certification in this field
  • 1-2 years of experience in leading and managing teams

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Serve Team on Sundays and Thursdays

  • Regular involvement in Manna Church activities and events
  • Signed acknowledgement of Manna Church’s “Statement of Faith”
  • Signed acknowledgement of policies and procedures as stated in Manna Church’s employee handbook
  • Living out the spiritual principles outlined in the Employee Handbook; participation in a small group; attending worship services; involvement in outreach; following Christ personally and passionately; sexual purity
