Job DescriptionJob Description

At Your Green Package, the Cannabis Logistics Dispatcher is primarily responsible for a wide range of activities relating to coordinating the safe delivery of orders and providing excellent customer service. The dispatcher will maintain consistent communication with the delivery & distribution team, ensuring quality, and time-efficient arrival of products at the consumers’ homes and retailers. This role is a hybrid role but a candidates that is able to come into the office is preferred.

The Delivery Coordinator role also includes, but is not limited to:

  • Respond to any issues that may arise on the road & coordinate with proper authorities
  • Monitor the route of driving teams & prioritize their daily schedule
  • Secure delivery services with signal checks as required during each route
  • Record signals accurately across multiple excel tabs and documents
  • Receive signals and communicate with drivers to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries

Requirements

  • Age 21 or over (Required)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Valid Driver’s License (Required)
  • Clean driving record (Required)
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Spreadsheet
  • Ability to be flexible with varying work hours to cover all transportation needs
  • Excellent verbal communication and human relation skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, point of sale software and debit terminal
  • Must successfully complete a role specific training program
  • Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner
  • Must be available to work weekends and applicable holidays
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrates high emotional intelligence
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
  • Must be highly organized and have extreme attention to detail
