Who We’re Looking For:
Codeworks is seeking a dedicated and experienced Help Desk II - End User Support Technician to join our team in Appleton, WI, onsite . We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing technical support and who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for software/hardware/network requests and issues related to County-provided systems.
- Resolve issues/requests efficiently and in a timely manner; escalate issues when appropriate.
- Monitor, prioritize, and respond to requests from multiple sources including phone, voicemail, email, and walk-ups.
- Prepare/update training materials and documentation of systems for Departments and users; train users on proper usage.
- Consult hardware/software manufacturers as needed to resolve issues.
- Process Security Access and Project Requests.
- Assist with backup, user security, setup, configuration, testing, and deployment of hardware/software.
- Maintain records/licenses/registration/warranty of hardware and software.
- Recommend new products and procedures; research education materials, new software releases, and technology.
- Ensure County users follow established IT standards.
- Administer, maintain, and monitor the internal IT work order system.
- Coordinate equipment moves between Maintenance, End Users, and IT staff.
- Participate in On Call Rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree in an IT-related field with three years Help Desk or networking experience.
- Or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Strong ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of knowledge of all County systems and their related interfaces.
- Ability to work with, troubleshoot, and set up a variety of hardware devices.
- Knowledge of modern operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10, etc) and Microsoft Office platform.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Domains, Group Policies, Antivirus/Malware remediation hardware/software, Citrix products, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot in unfamiliar environments; adapt and learn new technical concepts.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills with a high degree of professionalism.
- Initiative, ability to work independently and within a team, and use independent judgment.
- Ability to react quickly to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Experience and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks at once.
