You are

We are in search of an experienced Program Manager to lead critical projects that enhance the cybersecurity and IT infrastructure of federal agencies. Your role will involve managing a talented team of IT consultants, ensuring effective communication with clients, and overseeing the development and implementation of complex programs. Your expertise in enterprise IT systems, cloud systems, and network security will be vital in driving the success of our mission. You will work under pressure in dynamic environments to deliver cybersecurity solutions that meet both technical and consumer needs.


The Skills

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing IT and cybersecurity programs. (Your extensive experience ensures you can handle complex project requirements and deliver exceptional results.)

- Desired certifications include PMI/PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or equivalent. (These certifications validate your expertise and commitment to industry standards.)

- Proven experience with enterprise IT systems, cloud systems, and network security. (Your background enables you to navigate and secure diverse IT environments effectively.)

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of IT consultants effectively. (Leadership is crucial for guiding your team and driving project success.)

- Proficient in project management within the network security sector. (Your proficiency ensures efficient execution and delivery of cybersecurity initiatives.)

- Demonstrated ability to handle complex programs and work under pressure in fast-paced environments. (Your resilience and adaptability help manage and deliver under demanding conditions.)

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. (Effective communication and collaboration are key to successful project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.)


The Expectations:

30 Days

  • Familiarize yourself with the agency's existing data infrastructure, workflows, and security requirements.
  • Begin building relationships with the team and understanding the project's objectives.
  • Start reviewing and assessing the existing program management processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

60 Days

  • Develop strategies for enhancing program delivery and aligning projects with business goals.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and collaboration across projects.
  • Implement best practices for program management and risk mitigation.

90 Days

  • Lead the team towards achieving key project milestones and delivering on program objectives.
  • Establish a framework for continuous improvement in program management.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.
