This private, concierge family medicine practice is looking for someone with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to serve as its Medical Assistant. Outstanding customer service is a must for our practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing concierge medical practice.

The Medical Assistant will be responsible primarily for back-office work with limited front office work, including:

Back Office:

  • triaging and rooming patients
  • measuring and recording patient vitals in the EMR
  • administering immunizations/injections
  • performing EKGs
  • returning patient calls
  • managing referrals and prescriptions
  • other duties as requested

Front Office:

  • greeting patients
  • enrolling new patients
  • check-in/check-out
  • scheduling appointments
  • answering phones
  • managing referrals
  • entering demographics
  • securing prior authorizations
  • other general office duties as required

Applicants must have:

  • Minimum of two years medical practice experience, preferred
  • Willingness to work with children, prior experience not required
  • Proficient computer and EMR skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Outgoing and friendly personality
  • Team player
  • Ability to multi-task
