We Are Looking For

A Pharmacy Technician who will play a personal role within our community to ensure that our patients receive the medication and care that they need. This position will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to provide exceptional customer service while assisting patients and filling prescriptions, including locating, dispensing, packaging, and labeling prescribed medication for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of the medication fulfillment process, including processing incoming prescriptions (escribe, fax, phone-in, etc.), hand counting, labeling, managing robot fills, and bubble packing
  • Provide a strong sense of hospitality by engaging, helping, and developing relationships with our patients
  • Answer incoming phone calls and communicate with other team members, patients, caregivers, community partners, and provider offices
  • Be an agent by helping resolve issues for patients when they arise, including coordinating delivery, working with providers on prescription corrections, and troubleshooting insurance rejections
Requirements:

  • CPhT license is a plus but not required
