Position Overview

We are seeking a committed Pharmacist who will take an active role in our community, ensuring that patients receive the necessary medications and care, from routine immunizations to personalized consultations. This role will also involve mentoring pharmacy technicians, interns, front-end associates, and delivery personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescribed medications and suggest suitable over-the-counter options in accordance with professional standards and legal regulations.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff involved in the counting, filling, packaging, labeling, and delivery of medications.
  • Manage daily ordering processes and participate in inventory oversight.
  • Examine prescriptions from authorized prescribers for accuracy and evaluate the appropriateness of treatment.
  • Provide immunization services to walk-in patients, maintaining active CPR certification.
  • Conduct face-to-face consultations with patients and caregivers regarding pharmacy-related concerns such as diabetes management, COPD treatment, and pain management.
  • Evaluate patients' needs related to medication adherence, including counseling and motivational interviewing.
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare professionals.
Qualifications

What You Will Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • Preferred PharmD degree and/or residency training.
  • Active pharmacy license in North Carolina.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities, adaptability, and a solid work ethic.
  • Customer service-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • A collaborative team player.
