Role Responsibilities and QualificationsKey Responsibilities: The Pharmacy Technician Expert is tasked with executing pharmacy technician duties efficiently and accurately. Recognized as a specialist in pharmacy operations, this role involves taking on specialized responsibilities and/or leadership tasks as designated by pharmacy management.
Qualifications Required:- Education: High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Preferred Education: An Associate's Degree in Pharmacy Technology or a Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
- Licensure: Must hold registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the relevant state board and maintain active certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of pharmacy technician experience in a healthcare environment is required.
- Preferred Experience: Four or more years as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, including supervisory or leadership experience.
