What We Need:

Obagi is seeking a Social Media Associate to join our dynamic, creative, and rapidly growing Marketing Team through December 2024. The ideal candidate will have a curious personality, a passion for all things beauty, and will play a crucial role in the development and execution of industry relevant content.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research and share findings on competitors in the social landscape via articles, trending topics/sounds, keywords, and hashtags relevant to social media
  • Assist with filming and creative content for all social platforms.
  • Create brief requests for content creators and align to branding & tone of voice.
  • Contribute and execute ideas for content, brand partnerships, influencer experiences, influencer outreach on relevant social platforms to support new product launches, brand campaigns and events, influencer campaigns, and giveaways.
  • Monitor and respond to inbound messaging and remain true to OBAGI’s brand voice.
  • Organize and prepare product packages to send to influencers
  • Stay up to date with relevant beauty and industry trends to produce relevant and creative content that drives engagement and collaboration.
  • Analyze data and relevant KPIs to understand overall performance/ROI on relevant metrics such as brand awareness, engagement, and growth
  • Brief the creative team with creation of new content in various forms: briefs, reels, posts.
  • Collaborate with brand team on campaign execution.

What You’ll Need:

  • A bachelors degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Advertising, or Graphic Design highly preferred.
  • At least 1+ years of experience as a social media or influencer associate with advanced experience creating and uploading content to major social media platforms like: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc...
    • Video/image editing experience a huge plus but not required
  • A creative and curious mindset with a keen eye for detail regarding design layouts and copy.
  • Passion for communication and building community.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization/time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technologies (Adobe Suite highly preferred)
  • Possess an energetic, positive attitude that encourages a team and supports the growth and professional development of others.
