Qualis Corporation is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support a diverse team with a focus on project monitoring, purchasing, configuration management and project tracking at our headquarters office in Huntsville, AL. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

Essential Functions

· Support the overall project management process, including project planning, monitoring, controlling, and executing.

· Assist in development of project schedules, project plans, and project budget development.

· Support the PM and be accountable for ensuring we meet and deliver on all contract deliverables.

· Track and review documentation revisions and support configuration management process.

· Collaborate with executives, the PM, business operations and engineering staff to provide material purchasing support.

· Ensures compliance with our approved purchasing process and policies.

· Familiarity with FAR based Government purchasing regulations and requirements.

· Coordinates financial reviews and schedule reviews for the PM.

· Analyzes and compiles cost data for the program.

· Provides direction to subcontractors.

· Works closely with Contracts, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Operations to support program staffing and subcontractor needs.

Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor’s in business, accounting, engineering, or a business related field from an accredited university required.

· College GPA above 3.0 required, above 3.5 preferred.

· A minimum of 3 years related experience to include demonstrated knowledge of the purchasing process.

· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office – MS Project, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform in a fast-paced environment.

· Must have excellent data-gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication required.

Clearance

· Must be eligible for and able to maintain an Active Secret Clearance.
