Position Summary: The Administrative Specialist oversees and provides support related to the administrative operations of the organization, with a primary focus on our Recovery Housing program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Recovery Housing program including coordination of platform information between RICARES and key stakeholders (NARR, BHDDH, BH Link).
- Oversee and provide administrative support related to administration, technology, and operations.
- Adhere to administrative procedures.
- Oversee IT and troubleshooting.
- Database management and maintenance.
- Generate grant and contract invoices and supporting information.
- Track staff reports and database entries.
- Generate monthly reports from databases and other sources.
- Familiar with vendor contracts and renewal.
- Customer relations - foster and maintain relationships with state, community partners, and vendors.
- Provide support to staff during programs, projects, trainings and special events.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Three year’s experience in Business Administration or related field.
- Proven track record in outstanding customer service.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Exceptional computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, web-based platforms and database management.
- Strong customer service ethic.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with varied and demanding tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Cross-cultural skills and experience with culturally diverse populations.
- Knowledge about addiction recovery a plus.
- Experience working in a non-profit environment a plus.
- Experience working in Quickbooks a plus.
