Job Description: 

 As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for welcoming patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the front desk operations. Your warm and professional demeanor will contribute to creating a positive and supportive atmosphere for all who enter our facility. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Patient Reception: Greet and assist patients and visitors as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming and reassuring presence. 

  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, and maintain an organized appointment calendar. 

  • Registration and Check-In: Accurately register new patients, verify insurance information, and assist with the check-in process. 

  • Phone and Email Correspondence: Handle phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing information in a clear and helpful manner. 

  • Payment Processing: Collect patient co-pays and fees, and accurately process payments according to healthcare facility policies. 

  • Records Management: Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. 

  • Patient Assistance: Assist patients with completing necessary forms, provide directions, and offer support in navigating the healthcare facility. 

  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the front desk area is tidy and well-organized at all times. 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role. 

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare facility procedures is a plus. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 

  • Proficiency in using office software and electronic health records systems. 

  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
