Monday - Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm (no weekends) $22+/hr, depending on experience, however experience is not necessary to apply. The company is open to a quality individual with the motivation and initiative to learn how to become a success in this industry. This position is not a job, it is a career, with benefits, yearly raises, and a company culture of “being part of the family.” This will be a lengthy interview process (3 interviews with the Production Manager and/or President of the company). They want to ensure they are getting the right person to add to the “family.” All qualified candidates who possess what it takes to succeed in this position are encouraged to apply. SAW MACHINING DEPARTMENTPHYSICAL ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during the workday, bend at the knees to facilitate lifting, and bend at the waist to lean into machine tool enclosures to load and unload parts.
  • Ability to climb on bed of large mills to properly seat materials with fixturing tape to secure for machining.
  • Ability to stand and or walk around the plant for the duration of the workday.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour standard shift and overtime hours when necessary.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Ability to be certified to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to be trained to use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Ability to be trained to use basic shop match calculations.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and can be insured by the Company.
SAW MACHINING DEPARTMENTS SUMMARY:Sets up and operates computerized and manual machinery to fabricate rigid and flexible parts by performing the following duties according to Company needs, applicable policies, and ISO procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Include the following.
