Core Tasks of the Registered Behavior Technician

Treat, track, and report the effectiveness of ABA related interventions for individuals with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities while working with a multidisciplinary team and under the supervision of a BCBA.


*School Day Schedule

*School Year plus 6 Weeks in the Summer

*Positions Available Now

Minimum Qualifications

  • Registered Behavior Technician Certificate or 40 hour RBT course completed

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental delays


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build student communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills

  • Follow student’s IEPs using ABA principles and other relevant intervention under the supervision of assigned BCBA, special education teachers, and therapists

  • Maintain RBT supervision documents according to BACB standards

  • Evaluate treatment efficacy and collaborate with BCBAs to adjust IEPs to maximize effectiveness

  • Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance
