We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a Full-Time Behavior Analyst/BCBA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with disabilities.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students. They will also develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the findings from the FBA, employing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive FBAs to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students.
- Develop individualized BIPs based on the findings from the FBA, employing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
- Provide training and support to staff members on the effective implementation of BIPs, ensuring consistent and appropriate interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIPs by systematically collecting and analyzing data on student behavior.
- Collaborate closely with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to ensure the student's unique needs are met and interventions are consistent across environments.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering valuable input on the development of goals and objectives related to behavior management.
- Hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Possess a Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, or Psychology.
- Demonstrate previous experience working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community agencies.
- Display a strong knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to special education and behavior management in schools.
