Hedgelan Consulting is a federal government contracting firm, specializing in providing staffing support services to federal agencies. Hedgelan has operations across several different federal agencies and holds several major prime and sub-prime contracts.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Federal Human Resources Project Manager to oversee and manage staff who have been contracted to the government on multiple task orders. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing performance, acting as a liaison between the client, the contractor, and our company, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, contractor, and our company.
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between all stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and expectations.
  • Maintain project schedules, track progress, and prepare regular status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with HR and recruitment management as needed, including hiring, onboarding, and training new staff.
  • Approximately 10% travel required
  • Remote Eligible if you live in MD, VA or NC

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or project management, preferably in a federal contracting environment.
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in HR and/or recruitment management is preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
