Are you a Title Clerk that would like to learn more about Automotive Accounting?
If you said yes, then this is the position for you We are looking for someone who is familiar with the Verifi system for New York DMV and has some knowledge of dealership accounting.
The ideal candidate must have dealership experience and demonstrate good administration, organizational and computer skills. Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy.
Be reliable and have a positive attitude. Able to deal with confidential information appropriately. Have problem solving and analytical skills.Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
You will provide administrative support to the accounting team, as needed. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: assist in funding bank contracts, process New York and out of state DMV paperwork for titling and registration, stock in new vehicles, process vendor invoices, maintain files for accounts receivable and accounts payable, review schedules and make any necessary journal entries, ensure that all accounting transactions comply with financial policies and procedures and other duties as assigned. Work to ensure timely transfer of all information that affects accounting and payroll. This is not an exhuastive list of all duties and responsibilities. We reserve the right to amend and change responsibilites to meet business and organizational needs, as necessary.
Be ready to provide 2-3 verifiable work references.
Experience with Reynolds Ignite and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) are a plus.
