The Facilities Administration & MRO Supervisor manages aspects of the MRO spare parts inventory as well as the Asset Care function to support a pharmaceutical environment using a CMMS system (Maximo) and an ERP system (SAP). This includes: sourcing, ordering, receipt and stocking of all stock and non-stock items, cycle counting, maintain asset and location records, process Service Requests, and provide Work Order updates.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  1. Maintains inventory data base to identify item status, apply “smart-coded” naming convention for simplified look-up, maintain min/max values based on item usage and lead times. Maintaining data base requires partnering with the ERP team.
  2. Establishes and maintains supplier base to ensure best pricing, delivery of materials, and quality of parts and services.
  3. Conduct Request for Quotation and sourcing activities for MRO spares in a pharmaceutical environment.
  4. Creates Purchase Requisitions in ERP system for all stock items, non-stock items, and services, based on user demand.
  5. When necessary, utilize a Lantheus purchasing card to procure stock or non-stock items.
  6. Provide vendors and suppliers with Purchase Orders for all stock, non-stock, and services as required.
  7. Supports timely ordering and receipt of stock items to avoid stock-out conditions.
  8. Establishes strong working relationship with customers ensuring appropriate stock levels and timely delivery of critical inventory items.
  9. Communicates effectively through email, meetings (in-person or Teams), face-to-face conversation with management and peers.
  10. Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate and current records required.
  11. Develops and maintains metrics for inventory performance tracking.
  12. Monitor, track, and coordinate efforts to reduce inventory carrying costs including stock room organization.
  13. Performs cycle counts based on established frequencies to ensure SOX compliance.
  14. Reconciles storeroom discrepancies due to Cycle Counts and financial reports.
  15. Process Service Requests in the CMMS system to support all departments at the Billerica and Bedford sites.
  16. Update Work Orders in the CMMS system with log notes and status changes as required.
  17. Work directly with the Accounts Payable team on any invoicing matters that may arise, related to stock, non-stock, or service purchases.
  18. Create/modify new non-calibrated Asset and Location records in the CMMS system.
  19. Act as the primary point of contact for sending out sitewide notifications for the Billerica site.
  20. Actively promote safety rules and awareness. Always demonstrate good safety practices, including the appropriate use of protective equipment. Report and take initiative to correct safety and environmental hazards.
  21. Actively demonstrate Lantheus values.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Associates Degree or equivalent experience in Inventory Management.
  2. Prior experience with maintenance management systems and processes, preferably Maximo.
  3. Prior purchasing and inventory experience with ERP system, preferably SAP.
  4. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
  5. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods of time required.
  6. Work in a radiation environment required.
  7. Capable of obtaining a forklift license.
  8. Knowledgeable with general materials used in a plant maintenance environment, including types, specifications and applications.
  9. Experienced in the use and application of tools that aid in the identification and contact of suppliers specific to item requirements, i.e. web based search engines, company registers, etc.

  2. May be required to work after hours and weekends, if necessary.
  3. Ability to manage day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  4. Knowledge and use of application or software systems including Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, etc.), Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
  5. Experience multi-tasking while maintaining detail integrity, effective prioritization, and commitment to deadlines.
  6. Ability to problem solve in novel and uncertain situations as it relates to job function.
