Redan's Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, developing functional artifacts, and supporting the development process by facilitating Agile ceremonies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Business Analyst at Redan, you will:- Gather and document requirements from business and technology stakeholders
- Develop user stories, use cases, process flows, story maps, and other functional artifacts and deliverables
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Assist the team in preparation for ART activities, including PI Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt workshop
- Assist in the process of documenting, analyzing, tracking, prioritizing, and agreeing on requirements from business and technology stakeholders
- Control change and communication to relevant stakeholders
- Ad-hoc Production support, including issue investigation, triage, and resolution
- Some aspects of release management and environment management, including change request logging, documentation, error logging
- Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution
- Communicate with management and outside stakeholders
Profile of Success:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years experience on IT development contract
- 3+ Years Experience in a business analyst or requirements analyst role
- Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management tools (such as Rational Team Concert (RTC) or JIRA
- 2+ years experience with facilitating communication/collaboration with client and development team staff through in-person and virtual settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain Government Secret Security Clearance
Required:
- Secret clearance or interim secret clearance is required for this position
Our IDEAL Business Analyst Will Have:
- 1+ Years experience serving in a Scrum Master role
- Experience with Agile, SAFe, PO/PM
- Active Secret Clearance
Conditions of Employment
- US Citizenship is required
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3 years of experience as Business Analyst on IT development contract
- Must be willing to work onsite as (currently 2x every 2 weeks, on a rotational schedule by team)
