Director, Donor Services

- Communication with Tissue Bank partners to facilitate sharing of donor eligibility records.
- Coordinates, and evaluates all aspects of the tissue referral, authorization and donor eligibility (DE) activities of LifeLink.
- Communication between Donor Services and other agencies operating in the service area: OPO Executive Directors, Medical Examiners Offices, hospitals, Funeral Homes, affiliated recovery agencies and referring physicians.
- Direct supervision of Managers and Supervisors.
- Analyzes operational and performance data and assesses effectiveness of current policy and procedures, identifying and directing situational problem resolution and process improvement activities.
- Collaboratively with the Director, Foundation Tissue Recovery to coordinate all tissue donor activity, including the collection of all information needed to determine donor eligibility
- Works with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with current domestic and international regulations related to Donor Eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in a medically related field preferred, or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a regulated environment, Tissue Bank experience preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge and analysis of organ/tissue development and recovery activities.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills necessary to oversee daily operational activities.
- Strong Leadership Skills and Communication Skills.
- Preferred call center background
