This role will be responsible for coordinating the world of compliance for several territories. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify, evaluate and monitor driver compliance and non-compliance issues
  • Assist in managing internal and external compliance reporting, compliance investigations and on-going educational programs
  • Monitor and assist in enforcement of DOT and FMCSA regulations to ensure compliance
  • Own tasks in relation to driver qualifications, training and records
  • Conduct daily audits of drivers to ensure compliance and productivity through a tracking software system
  • Monitor expiration list processes including Driver's License and medical card renewal
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of compliance controls, compliance procedures and operational processes
  • Handle review of collisions and incidents to determine cause and preventability
  • Handle collision claims through working with our insurance carrier and assigned adjusters
  • Maintain roadside inspections and citations
  • Review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and communicate corrections needed
  • Track monthly safety training topics and meetings
  • Conduct renewal and MCS-150 filings
  • Support our culture of delighting internal and external customers
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in transportation compliance required
  • Expertise and extensive knowledge of DOT rules and regulations required
  • Deadline driven with excellent organizational skills
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency and working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently
  • Ability to multi-task while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Self-starter with ability to take initiative and be an independent thinker
  • Ability to define processes and procedures as well as initiate tasks related to job requirements
  • Maintain the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality regarding company information
  • Must have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to assess, coach, and mentor drivers
