Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

- Banding the coils coming off the pickle line to prepare for shipment.

-Reviews job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material

requirements.

- Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.

- Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.

- Assists machine operators to set up machine and transport finished work pieces.

- Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.


Requirements:

-Good mathematical and mechanical skills.

-Previous experience on pickle line/steel processing facility is a plus

-Ability to follow written instructions on work orders/SOP’s.

-Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus

-Proficiency of the use of micrometers, calipers and other measuring tools.

-Good verbal and written communication skills.

-Knowledge and ability to use a computer and basic menu-driven software.

- 12 hour shifts, 3 days one week, 4 days the next week, continually rotating, 7am to 7pm
