ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Demonstrate strong, effective program management, utilizing Industry best practices for timely delivery results
Develop and maintain required project artifacts in accordance with Project Management standards and applicable regulations.
Provide timely financial performance and forecasting reports, working closely with business and financial project managers
Establish collaborative partnerships to facilitate rapid scoping, financial and resource decisions.
Implement appropriate project governance structures and processes, evaluate risks, and establish mitigation plans
Identify and implement improvements to drive operational efficiencies and cost reductions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced degree in Project Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent work, training, and education
Strong business acumen with excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively respond to complex information
Must manage coordination and execution at both high- and detailed levels, across multiple teams and projects
12 years' experience with significant hands-on Program and Project management experience from project initiation to implementation using formal project management methodologies and processes.
Expertise with project management, procurement and finance system interactions such as MS Project, Ariba On Demand, SAP
Must have work authorization in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with or for host railroads
Transportation industry experience a plus
