POSITION OBJECTIVE

Centrifugal pump Engineer responsible for creation of new hydraulic designs to support our business. Using computational fluid dynamic modeling technics to create new stage designs or optimize existing stage design to be competitive with competitive offering. Perform testing to confirm performance and oversee creation of technical documentation to support manufacture of new pump designs.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Comply with all applicable US laws and regulations.
  • Comply with Levare US HSE Policies and HSE Procedures.
  • Work as a key resource in the Engineering R&D department generating innovative ideas regarding hydraulic stage and pump design.
  • Develop new pumps, gas separation devices, and gas handling devices per technical specifications.
  • Manage multiple projects, taking responsibility for on time and on budget delivery of proven design solutions.
  • Perform analysis to verify effectiveness and suitability of proposed design solutions.
  • Exercise of judgment is required on details of work, in making selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives and in making decisions about project management and scheduling.
  • Generate test plans and contribute in test equipment design verification.
  • Carry out any necessary test programs to ensure reliability and sustainability of the product.
  • Compile engineering reports and present data, where necessary, to the management team.
  • Work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity.
  • Resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
  • Identify customer's requirement (technical/products problems, execution issues) and attend customer meetings (kick off, coordination review, close out etc.).
  • Lead internal design activities and technical decisions and participate in design reviews with the engineering team.
  • Generate Bill of Material for the assigned project and prepare Quality Control Plan.
  • Manage and control the engineering hours allocated to the job and drawing list to be submitted to customers.
  • Support fabrication of equipment including troubleshooting, product improvement, and product inspection.
  • Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety processes and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent years of directly related experience

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 15 years of engineering in area of expertise required

SKILLS

Ability to follow the company's IMS (in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) policies and procedures at all times

Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and/or company specific databases

Good written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of oilfield industry in multiple segments is required

Proven innovator

Exhibit leadership and can make effective, reliable and appropriate decisions and judgments without supervision or assistance

Ability to work well with all levels of personnel

Able to work well with deadlines and excellent organizational skills

Highly competent in production engineering, analysis, and testing roles

Requires an understanding of both theories and principles


WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Normal office environment and occasional exposure to plant environment

Occasionally required to move about the facility

Occasional travel and on call required

Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory
