Golf Shop Outside Services Attendant at Old Marsh Country Club

Old Marsh Country Club in Wells, ME is seeking outside services staff for the Pro Shop department. Individuals should be highly motivated and detail oriented. Golf shop staff maintain and project the highest standards of customer service.
A great summer job for students, or for golfers that want to take advantage of our employee benefits like complimentary golf privileges at Old Marsh.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operations of our golf cart fleet - cleaning, basic (non-skilled) maintenance, restocking/repositioning carts throughout the day for golfers' use
- Starter/Ranger assistance - managing golfers on the course, reporting golfers' issues to Pro Shop staff and management, and assisting in maintaining place of play to ensure things are running smoothly
- Provide excellent customer service for golfers particularly between the periods of check-in and golf play - loading and cleaning clubs, assisting with golf bags, etc.
- Basic cleaning and maintenance of clubhouse facilities such as restrooms, locker rooms, common areas, and our small on-site gym facility as needed
- Other tasks as necessary to ensure smooth golf operations and customer satisfaction within the policies of Old Marsh Country Club
Qualifications
- Age 16 or older
- Physically able to operate a golf cart (will train necessary skills if unfamiliar)
- Reliable and punctual
- Adaptable and flexible - enjoying work that requires frequent shifts in direction
- Detail-oriented - able to discern areas that need attention and act on them, sometimes without being directed
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00/hour.
