Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining and promoting excellence in hospitality and customer service in the laundry department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Ensure the complete upkeep and smooth functioning of the laundry department, including changing and replacing bed linens and towels, sanitizing and cleaning restrooms, and dusting/wiping down room surfaces.
  • Restock all room amenities and assure all rooms are set up to company standards.
  • Clean and maintain personal workstation by properly stocking it with sheets, towels, amenities, etc.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.

Requirements
  • Ability to learn and operate a cash register
  • Ability to learn and perform basic office/clerical tasks
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, organization skills, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic
  • Regularly required to talk and hear
  • Requires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
  • Occasional light lifting not over 50lbs
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment

While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
