Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement human resources strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives of Maü Miami.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback and coaching to employees and managers.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities and support career growth opportunities within the organization.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on human resources-related issues and provide guidance and support to employees at all levels.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEOC guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with employees and management.
  • Proven leadership and management abilities, with a track record of effectively leading and developing HR teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
