GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Independently the incumbent is responsible for leading the team responsible for SBA credit administration and tickler management post-closing, including document tracking, compliance monitoring, and maintaining the integrity of the loan portfolio. This role includes active and direct involvement in tickler processing, compliance, and customer service, as well as guiding the team to ensure efficient and compliant credit administration according to SBA guidelines, Company and lender policies. The ideal candidate is someone who excels in a leadership role while actively working with and along-side the team the candidate is leading.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


· Oversee, enhance and maintain post-closing credit administration for the SBA portfolio.

· Oversee and support tracking of required documents and compliance items using the tickler system.

· In coordination with the Chief Risk Officer, implement risk management practices to identify and address potential issues in the loan portfolio.

· Work closely with the credit and lending teams to ensure smooth post-closing operations.

· Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline post-closing credit and tickler administration.

· Prepare some post-closing modifications.

· Submittal of SBA Form 159 to appropriate service vendors and proper reporting of third party fees charged in connection with SBA loan applications.

· Establish closed loans in Cash Suite system to launch servicing to include the setup of related products and services for the loan, and compliance ticklers to manage the loan.

· Provide customer service to loan clients by responding in a timely manner to inbound telephone and email communication.

· Provide ongoing support, guidance, and resolution on client loans to include but not limited to correspondence with the bank's lenders, insurance companies, legal, SBA, and service vendors.

· Verify lien positions have been properly perfected post-closing.

· Participate in loan portfolio reviews to review credit administration compliance.

· Monitoring loan expiration dates and expirations of UCC's advance notice to Lender's.

· Review of information received from Lender's, Borrowers and Legal Post Closing, to include filing, renaming and updating Cash Ticklers.

· Manage, organize, and maintain large volumes of data, documentation, and information.

· Carries out duties in compliance with all SBA, federal and state regulations and guidelines.

· Complies with all company policies and procedures.

· Remains current in profession and industry trends.

· Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by:

· making suggestions for improvement

· implementing improved processes, procedures and systems

· learning new skills, procedures and processes.

· Is available for other duties as required.

· Is available for overtime as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar business-related field or equivalent combination of education and job-related experience. Five (5)+ years of experience in post closing SBA credit administration, portfolio management. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage and coordinate complex projects or assignments utilizing current technology platforms.
