Job Title: Front Desk Associate/Keyholder - Baseball and Softball Academy

Location: D-BAT Scottsdale

Position Type: Part-Time

About Us: D-BAT Scottsdale is a premier destination for aspiring baseball and softball athletes, providing top-notch training and facilities. Our mission is to foster a love for the game and help athletes of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential. We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team and contribute to the success of our academy.

Position Summary: You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and providing exceptional customer service to our members and visitors. You will be responsible for managing the front desk, selling memberships, checking out customers, scheduling lessons and making sure everyone that walks through the door has an A+ experience. Your role is vital in creating a positive and welcoming environment for all who walk through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Front Desk Management:
  • Greet and assist members and visitors with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Answer phone calls, provide information, and address inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  1. Membership Sales:
  • Promote and sell academy memberships and packages to potential customers.
  • Explain the benefits of membership and assist in the enrollment process.
  • Maintain accurate records of memberships and payments.
  1. Customer Check-Out:
  • Process payments and check out customers efficiently.
  • Provide receipts and invoices as needed.
  • Address customer concerns and provide solutions when necessary.
  1. Customer Service Excellence:
  • Deliver an A+ customer service experience by going above and beyond to meet customer needs.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Act as a point of contact for customer feedback and suggestions.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other academy staff members to create a high-performing and cohesive team.
  • Assist in special events, promotions, and marketing efforts as needed.
  • Support coaches and instructors with administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of baseball and softball or a passion for sports is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in computer software for data entry and basic administrative tasks.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.35 - $15.00/hour.
