Job Purpose:

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the server infrastructure of the agency. Areas of responsibility include development, implementation, training, operations and maintenance. The System Administrator travels to other agency facilities for on-site issues and shall maintain an inventory of all agency information, data processing, electronic equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, TCP/IP networking, or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a production systems and/or network environment.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours for IT maintenance/emergency situations.

Core Job Duties:

  • Support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate virtual hosts, cloud-based and on-premise servers, and Windows operating systems, including Windows Server 2012 through latest version.
  • Knowledge of customer technical support standards, protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain agency asset system of technology resources and conduct regular audits.
  • Manage and maintain Office 365, SharePoint, and related programs.
  • Backup all IT-related data and be capable of restoring that data in the event of a disaster.
  • Manage all systems and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to ensure that staff can effectively carry out their duties.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Implement hardware upgrades, installation, and maintenance.
  • Maintain agency telephone system, voice switches, and digital voicemail systems.
  • Provide timely technical support to employees via telephone, emails, remote/on-site assistance.
  • Use discretion to effect timely solution of problems in order to ensure customer satisfaction, eliminate downtime and prevent cost overruns.
  • Create and edit digital media and targeted marketing advertisements for the agency.
  • Maintain and update the agency website and social media platforms.
  • Assist the Public Relations department with golf tournaments, open house, flyer design, special events, etc. as needed.
  • Order and maintain promotional items for agency outings and events.
  • Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
  • Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
  • Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
  • Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
