Pricing Analyst: This position is responsible for developing, analyzing and supporting strategic pricing programs to deliver profitable growth. This position is also responsible for communicating with the Sales Team, Procurement, and Product Managers on drivers of changing pricing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Implement pricing for products and maintain pricing system of record

· Upload and maintain customer pricing in Oracle

· Continuously review pricing strategy across channels and products

· Work closely with Product Managers on pricing for BAT

· Maintains a database of historical pricing data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and guide pricing decisions

· Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions, and customer programs on revenue

· Coordinates tools, reports, and communications for accurate pricing information responsive to market changes.

· Analyze pricing change from Sales and margin impact including customer product rework

· Maintain current BAT for overall profitability by customer

· Work closely with the Sales Ops Manager to develop retailer promotions and promo codes in Oracle

· Provides reporting to measure price increase yield

· Acquires data from multiple sources and database tools including Oracle and Microstrategy

· Works collaboratively and effectively cross functionally to support the execution of price changes

· Other duties as assigned


Competencies: To perform the job successfully, the candidate must:

· Strong written and oral communication

· Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills

· Understands available reporting, drill down capabilities, and able to organize data

· Understands P&L analysis and management

· Strong proficiency in Excel including tables, pivot tables, and formulas such as index/match, as well as basic proficiency in Word and Power Point

· High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management

· Be flexible to change and learn new processes quickly

· Ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously. Strong time management skills

· Have strong analytical skills and detail oriented

· Be resourceful and have a positive work ethic

· Must be able to collaborate and contribute in an in-office team environment


Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required and a minimum of 1-3+ years related experience and/or training. Experience with Oracle and MicroStrategy is helpful.
