UNEW is seeking a part-time Airfoil Blender/Grinder to join our team. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn and a passion for precision work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate grinding machines to expose internal features of metal parts, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Monitor grinding operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and product specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the grinding process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, a plus.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus, but not required.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’) Political Asylee, or Refugee.
