Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Contract Modeler/Drafter with the technical skills necessary to create designs for gas turbine components utilizing NX software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop models of intricate components from 3D scanning data using NX CAD Software.
  • Create comprehensive production detail drawings.
  • Draft, review, and implement modifications to engineering drawings and models.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure all specifications are integrated into the design.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Modeling/Drafting.
  • Proficient in NX 10 or newer versions.
  • Experience with GOM Inspect or PolyWorks is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with gas turbine design; experience in gas turbine airfoil design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of GD&T is beneficial.
  • This role is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which necessitates U.S. person status as defined by ITAR.
