Overview: The Democratic National Committee is seeking a Senior Survey Analyst, based in Wilmington, DE, to support the Harris Campaign and Democrats up and down the ballot by supporting the Coordinated Campaign’s survey program. We are looking for individuals with a variety of backgrounds and experience, and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze survey data to extract meaningful campaign insights.
  • Help build and maintain survey data pipelines and tools.
  • Contribute to the development of survey questionnaires and methodology.
  • Manage the process of fielding surveys across multiple modes.
  • Work with a cohesive team to execute projects with accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to produce deliverables.

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years of experience applying data and analytics tools in a political, business, or non-profit setting.
  • 2-4+ years using SQL professionally.
  • Fluency in Python or R.
  • Familiarity with fielding surveys and analyzing survey data.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and platforms used by other team members.
  • A track record of prioritizing projects with the ability to be self-directed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems.
 

Additional Useful Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working in small, start-up-like environments.
  • Familiarity with dbt.
  • Experience volunteering or working on a political campaign data team, in polling, or with the Voter File.

The salary for this position is $90,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
