The Mission of Caring Network is to honor and glorify Jesus Christ, the author and creator of life, by bringing His love and compassion to abortion minded women and equipping them to choose life - both physical and spiritual.


About the role:

Help women who are considering or pursuing abortion to reorient their lives toward God and toward their children by welcoming patients to our clinic, managing the front door, daily schedule and reception area as well as assisting the nursing team with administrative duties.


Responsibilities include:

  • Greet patients for appointments setting the stage for a warm, welcoming, and professional experience.
  • Maintain security protocol for the clinic entrance - Verify the validity of guests as they arrive at the Clinic using the appropriate script. 
  • In anticipation of the patient’s arrival, make sure the lobby and guest seating areas are clean and orderly.   
  • Upon the arrival of each patient, greet them with a smile, verify their appointment, copy photo ID, have them complete the forms in the Welcome Packet on the reception tablet, and offer patients a snack/drink.
  • Manage difficult conversations with patients and guests with grace, facilitating a favorable outcome.
  • Maintain the atmosphere of the clinic with sound machines, closed doors between the reception area and the clinical offices, appropriate lighting and music, etc.
  • At end of shift, re-supply lobby and bathroom(s) with toilet paper, hand towels and soap as needed.  Re-supply Kitchen with hand towels as needed. 
  • Support nurses and sonographers by performing administrative duties (faxing charts, uploading documents to EMR, texting ultrasound images, tracking inventory, etc.) as requested.
  • Protect patients’ health information for confidentiality, access for treatment, and data security.
  • During down time, the Receptionist may seek out other general office duties. 
  • Participate in Quality Assurance process.
  • Adhere to all Policies and Procedures as applicable.
  • Actively pray for patients and nurses/sonographers during the appointment.
  • Learn to communicate Caring Network mission as well as identify and celebrate Core Values whenever they are demonstrated.
  • Seek personal and professional growth and learn to train others in the receptionist role. 


Candidate requirements:

  • A professing Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is a participant in a local church.
  • Maintains a consistent life-affirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion.
  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the organization’s Statements of Faith and Principle and Core Values.
  • Enthusiasm for and commitment to the mission and strategy of the organization.
  • Comfortable with participating in prayer with co-workers.
  • Must be willing to participate in applicable training.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
