Job DescriptionJob Description

Town Toyota is seeking a Service Porter who is responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers requiring shuttle service at the dealership, including the efficient and timely movement of vehicles on the premises. This position involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure that our service shop is at the highest level of cleanliness and operation possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and drives our shuttle
  • Operate all vehicles safely and follow Washington state rules and regulations in accordance with dealership practices.
  • Move vehicles from the service drive to the service area and parking lot safely and efficiently
  • Assist service advisors and technicians as needed
  • Perform vehicle check-ins as needed
  • Retrieve and deliver parts in a timely manner
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service drive and work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent. All licenses must be converted to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
  • Clean driving record to meet insurability standards
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment:

As part of the essential duties, this position requiresoperating motor vehicles. The employee’s essential duties are such thatimpairment caused by drug or alcohol could result in significant injury ordeath.
