Marketing and Training Intern - PAID

POSITION PURPOSE
PCS is seeking an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our Marketing and Communications Department. The Marketing and Communication Intern will collaborate with our Marketing Team in all stages of marketing campaigns, attend networking events, and perform administrative duties. This internship is intended to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment, opportunities to work on real projects and make meaningful contributions, mentorship and guidance from experienced marketing professionals, and the potential for future employment and career growth.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role does not require supervisory responsibility.

ORGANIZATION
This position reports to the Marketing and Communication Manager or Senior member of department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement social media strategies.
  • Help create and curate engaging content for various marketing channels.
  • Assist in the organization of promotional events and campaigns.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.



MACHINES & EQUIPMENT
The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as a copier.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.  Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The incumbent works in an office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise.  Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required.  Periodic times working offsite may be required.

Security and privacy training will be provided as part of this role to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of PCS’ associate and customer data.
