Housekeepers - Royal Gorge Cabins near Cañon City, Colorado

  • Seeking part-time and full-time Housekeepers for the cleaning of our rental cabins. Applicants must be clean, organized, able to follow directions, have a valid driver's license with good driving record, must be detail-oriented, dependable, and work well on their own or with others.

    Incentives:

    • Pay starting at $16 an hour

    Responsibilities:

    • Removal of trash
    • Dusting and vacuuming
    • Sweeping and washing hard floor surfaces
    • Replenish guest room supplies as needed
    • Strip and make beds
    • Clean mirrors and windows
    • Clean patios, patio furniture, and grills
    • Stock and inventory supplies in all necessary areas
    • Deep clean lodging units as scheduled
    • Report maintenance problems
    • Cleaning changing rooms and restrooms
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    • Friendly, courteous, and professional interactions with guests and staff
    • Project a professional image
    • Strong work ethic
    • Follow basic safety and company procedures

    Physical Requirements to Perform Job Duties:

    • Ability to stand and walk on paved, unpaved, uneven, and sometimes slippery surfaces for extended periods of time
    • Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, and squat, repetitively
    • Extensive use of fingers and hands to perform housekeeping tasks and other general cleaning duties
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily
    • Visual inspection of lodging units and equipment for cleanliness
    • Subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions: Adverse conditions may include extreme heat and/or cold, wind, and sometimes inclement weather
