  • Full Time, M-F 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Occasionally 8:15 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
  • Saturday 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
  • Creates a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while pre-admitting, admitting and/or registering, routing or escorting patients, family or visitors, serving as entity resource.
  • Registers inpatient and outpatient when needed.
  • In addition, obtains necessary signatures, completes paperwork, and distributes correctly.
  • Checks and rechecks all paperwork after it leaves the area for complete information and accuracy.
  • Will also work in central scheduling and point of service collections and estimates.
Requirements
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Education/Certifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience
  • Previous Admitting/Registration experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance is preferred.
