JOB PURPOSE

The Health Research Project Manager oversees the planning, oversight, execution and evaluation of recruitment and client support throughout a defined market research project scope. The Health Research Project Manager also acts as the direct supervisor and partners with their primary recruiter(s) and Health Team Administrative Assistant to ensure successful project outcomes.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Health Research Project Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all the following:


  • Project Planning

  • Define the project scope in collaboration with the Health Operations Director and Health Account Executive, as appropriate.
  • Thoroughly review project needs, creating a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
  • Determine the resources required to complete the project, including but not limited to recruiting team, external partner vendors, internal marketing, database development resources, etc.
  • Develop a schedule for project completion, clearly outlining milestone deadlines, that effectively allocates resources to the activities.

  • Project Staffing
  • Should resources beyond their assigned recruiter be required, work in collaboration with the Health Recruiting Supervisor to assign recruiting staff to the project.

  • Conduct project kick off briefings to ensure all responsible parties are aware of the project expectations and deliverables.
  • Manage recruitment staff according to the established policies and practices of the organization.Collaborate with Marketing, Health Database Development & Liaison team members, along with external partner resources to fully execute the project.

  • Project Control & Oversight

  • Oversee and command the project via recruitment, client support and potential ancillary needs (shipping, outsourced vendor services, partner collaborations, etc.) according to the project plan and organizational guidelines.
  • Lead via the provision of clear, decisive and accurate instruction to the project recruitment team, panel developers and partner vendors.
  • Establish a communication schedule to update clients and appropriate partners, along with internal team members.
  • Utilize company approved grids and templates to document and record project updates, activities and progress.
  • Ensure all project and participant information is secured according to company policy to ensure the highest level of data security and protection.
  • Monitor the progress of the project daily, adjusting approach and plan as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • In the event of an unanticipated project derailment, exhibits effective critical thinking and solution planning to right track the setback via clear communication with all project collaborators.
  • Project expense and funding control to maintain the defined budget, ensuring all financial records for the project are kept in accurate standing.
  • Uphold all project Terms & Conditions, in accordance with the governing and applicable internal and client guidelines.
  • Project Evaluation & Closure
  • Ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client team.
  • Reconcile all project expenses, providing accurate final accounting and invoicing to the client team.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project and client satisfaction with the end product via client feedback.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Paired Recruiter as a Direct Report including company HRIS platform management and PTO coverage coordination.
  • Supervise and guide all assigned staff and contracted partners on a project-by-project basis.
  • Conduct Direct Report Quarterly Evaluations.
  • Attend L10's, Team Enrichments & Continuing Education as scheduled and/or required.
  • Attend Annual Management Retreat.
  • Participate in training and onboarding as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

College degree in a related subject and/or relative work experience in the market research or healthcare industry.

EXPERIENCE

2-3 years Market Research industry, healthcare or management/ planning experience preferred
