**Project Overview**
American Institutes for Research is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of medium to large projects under the guidance of project directors. This role will involve developing and monitoring work plans, contracts, and budgets, as well as supporting risk and quality management.
**About the Role**
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, data analysis, and grant funding reporting. Experience working in a grant or contract-funded environment is desirable but not required. The successful candidate will be organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build value-added relationships with individuals at all levels.
**Responsibilities**
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and monitoring project work plans for Federal contractors, including agencies such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
- Creating budgets for medium to large projects with various levels of complexity, tracking and monitoring spending, and identifying issues that cause overruns
- Managing contract and budget modifications with clients, contractors, and vendors
- Providing support in project planning and implementation by managing, monitoring, and tracking project tasks using standard processes and workflows
- Establishing quality and performance standards, reviewing work products to ensure quality and consistency of content
- Analyzing project-management-related data and synthesizing those data into reports and spreadsheets based on program needs or program deliverables
- Maintaining relationships and working collaboratively with internal project staff, division leaders, and external clients and contractors
**Qualifications**
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in health administration, business management, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management, or a Master's degree in health administration, business management, or project management with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.

American Institutes for Research offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
