Role Overview: Addison Group is excited to support the search for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join the growing team of a leading manufacturing client in the Twin Cities Metro As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in managing corporate payables and vendor relationships with precision and expertise. Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is required, along with a knack for full-cycle AP processing and meticulous attention to detail, which are key factors for success in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Validate and process suppliers' invoices through rigorous 3-way matching procedures.
  • Maintain accurate vendor information in our ERP system (Microsoft Navision), supporting smooth transaction processes.
  • Assist in preparing weekly check runs and EFT payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Reconcile vendor invoices and credit notes to supplier statements of accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with departments across the organization to address AP inquiries and support general accounting activities.
  • Implement controls and processes in the ERP system to enhance efficiency and prevent errors.
  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with our vendors, fostering a positive and productive partnership.
