Midwest Fiber dba Balcones Recycling Midwest is a fast growing, regional leader in paper, plastic, single stream recycling and Confidential Onsite Paper Shredding (COPS). Due to a growth-related transfer, we are looking for a full-time Operations Manager to perform various administrative duties in support of our operations.

We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our facility Decatur, IL.

Job Summary

An Operations Manager will oversee the company’s organizations processes and operations to ensure productivity and quality.

Major Job Responsibilities

  • Supervision of multiple employees to ensure the coordination of satisfying customer needs
  • Positively and effectively lead teams to increasingly higher levels of productivity, quality and customer service.
  • Constantly making sure that safety is our number one priority, every day in everything we do.
  • Budget Management
  • Organizing open orders, delivery appointments, requests, etc. to ensure all customers are serviced efficiently and profitably
  • Solving problems as they arise, often in urgent situations
  • Working various short- and long-term research and improvement projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of an Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 3 years of administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must be organized and detailed-oriented
  • Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels
  • Be very dependable, with excellent attendance
  • Have a stable job history
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs
