Job Overview: The Master Project Scheduler ensures the successful planning, coordination, and execution of a Medicaid Management Information Claims Processing system (MMIS) implementation. This role involves maintaining a comprehensive master project schedule with multiple sub-project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with expertise in MS Project and DCMA schedule analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage program schedules using MS Project.
  • Collaborate with project partners to incorporate schedule needs.
  • Conduct advanced scheduling analysis for project visibility and progress tracking.
  • Perform critical path analysis and recommend schedule adjustments.
  • Ensure schedules align with project objectives and contractual requirements.
  • Report project metrics and escalate issues as needed.
  • Coordinate with project management to allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor and update schedules to reflect changes in scope or resources.
  • Identify scheduling risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct schedule reviews and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Mentor team members on scheduling tools and best practices.

Experience/Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with large, enterprise software implementation projects (MMIS preferred).
  • Expert in MS Project and DCMA XX-point Schedule Analysis Methodology.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior management.
  • Experience with SteelRay Project Analyzer and Sensei PM reporting tool.
  • X-1X years of experience in developing and maintaining complex project schedules.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle concepts.
  • Availability for travel within the US approximately one week per month for in-person schedule workshops.
