SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Director of Development, the Donor Relations Administrator will play a pivotal role in spearheading campaigns and building relationships to secure funding to support the organization’s mission. The position will assist the development team in stewarding existing donors and cultivating new relationships through effective communication and engagement strategies. The position will be responsible for the lifecycle of fundraising initiatives, from planning and execution of campaigns (including employee giving and virtual drives) to cultivating donor relationships. This includes securing sponsorships, grant writing, and managing donor data. You'll also play a key role in crafting communication materials and collaborating with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging reaches donors and potential supporters. The CAPK Foundation was founded in 2020 and serves as the philanthropic arm of Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK). The Foundation seeks to provide the necessary funding to empower low-income individuals and families with the resources in times of uncertainty. By forging strategic partnerships, we form a powerful force to improve our community.
