The Director of Sales will be responsible for both up-selling existing clients as well as generating new clients for the business.This position comes with both a base salary as well as a strong commission plan.

The best candidates will have sales experience, a servant mentality, and are comfortable operating in a degree of ambiguity.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team and drive our sales strategy to new heights.

Job Summary: The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will be a skilled leader with a proven track record in sales, particularly within the security and alarm industry. They will be adept at building relationships, negotiating contracts, and eventually leading a team of sales professionals to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with customers.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients needs.
  • Work with ownership to ensure brand consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to network with industry professionals and prospect for new clients.
  • Report on sales results to management and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience in a senior sales role within the security and alarm industry or similar (B2B and Home Services etc).
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
  • Strong understanding of how a business operates and successful track record in sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Availability to travel as needed.
