Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.


Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of human resource management experience required.
  • Experience in the construction or IT industries highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred.
  • Comfortable utilizing and working with BambooHR


Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling other office equipment.


Remote Work Equipment / Space Requirements:

  • A company laptop will be provided.
  • Must have reliable internet service to access online platforms, communication systems, payroll, and HRIS software.
  • Must have a mobile cell phone or office phone for verbal communication with staff; a cell phone reimbursement is provided if communication is via your personal cell phone.
  • Must have a quiet, private space at home to conduct work and participate in video conferences without disruption.


Additional Hiring Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
  • Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Must verify legal right to work in the US under IRCA.
