TRAVEL: up to 5%

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Payments Integration Support Engineer is a key point of contact responsible for building long lasting relationships with our ISV partners. This will require a strong individual who can take ownership and ensure we deliver the best in class experience for our partners. This individual will need to develop a good knowledge of our payment processing systems and capabilities to enable quick responses to partner inquiries. The integration support specialist will work across the organization to research and resolve issues related to new partner onboarding, troubleshoot any/all API related issues across all payment platforms and assist in integration related projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a deep understanding of each partner’s unique business model and how they will integrate with i3 Verticals.
  • Create sandbox environment for new partners on i3 processing platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and correct any configuration issues on partner test and production accounts.
  • Perform terminal/device troubleshooting.
  • Work across the organization with a high degree of urgency to efficiently research and resolve issues and/or escalations, minimizing customer impact whenever possible.
  • Work with level 3 (development) to properly escalate identified and verified product bugs.
  • Utilize appropriate internal systems to document issues and resolutions to partners and their customers.
  • Contribute to knowledge content creation.
  • Be available to answer inbound phone calls, attend scheduled meetings, make outbound calls to assist partners during initial integration and ongoing.
  • Work inbound email ticketing system and respond to tickets within SLAs.
  • Assist in projects related to payment platform integration; run test transactions, run scripts, validate expected results, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):

  • Two years experience in the Payments industry or a related field
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email
  • Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
