Position

Come join WCF insurance and help provide a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors. This is a very part-time position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters on Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and engage with each person entering the building, as needed.
  • Provide physical security at WCF Sandy, including conducting security rounds.
  • Assist with emergency evacuations (annual fire drills), medical events, etc.
  • Engage with WCF clients, employees, vendors, tenants, and contractors to provide guidance, restrict, or grant access, and communicate current policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with Building Supervisors, Executives, IT security, tenants, and other personnel to ensure the security mission.
  • Monitor security cameras and the access control system.
  • Identify visitors, grant and track access using a visitor database.
  • Read and know current communications from WCF management, including IT security training, emails, policy changes, and monthly newsletters.
  • Monitor and engage with delivery personnel to ensure all drivers are made at the loading dock.
  • Ensure building is secure am and pm.

Qualifications

The most qualified candidate will have:

  • P.O.S.T. certified peace officer (working or retired) or experience in the law enforcement role.
  • Utah Concealed to Carry a Weapon (CCW) permit.
  • Security experience preferred.
  • Authorization from the home LE agency to engage in outside employment (if currently employed as a LEO).
  • Team oriented.

Pay for this position is $45/hour.
